THE BEST SPORTING EVENT IN BARBADOS
Barbados Ninja Throwdown is a local sports entertainment competition that features some obstacles that are seen on the show, “American Ninja Warrior”, with a local twist to them. It encompasses individuals from different disciplines to complete the course in the fastest time possible. Mark your calendars for the ultimate 2-day sporting event on August 23rd and 24th, promising double the ACTION and double the FUN! August 23rd features Kids, Mature Kids, Masters, and Preteens, while August 24th spotlights Teens, Young Adults, Adults, and Elite divisions.
2016
OUR FIRST EVENT
The first event that took place in November 2016 had 1,500 people in attendance and out of the 60 contestants was a mixture of males and females. The winner was Malte Jorgensen, an exchange student from The University of the West Indies (UWI). The second event took place on May 20th 2017 and saw an even bigger crowd attendance (3000) as well as more finishers from each of the age groups.

The course gives competitors the opportunity to showcase their amazing talent this island of 285,000 people has. In addition, it has started to attract international attention.
The event truly brings people together, it’s witnessed in the patrons attending, the competitors as they warm up, the sponsors, the team that help get area ready. The course comprises of balance, upper and lower body movements, which make for a well-balanced OCR. As this is new to Barbados.
